
Is there a minimum order value?
Yes, in order to keep our prices low and offer this shipping service we have a
$25.00 minimum order value (before shipping charges). This means you must order at least two items (most people are quite happy to do so!).
Is your online payment system safe?
Yes. We use the PayPal payment gateway which is one of the largest and safest systems for handling online transactions. It is used by thousands of businesses and can accept all major credit cards.
Do you accept cheques or International Money Orders?
Certainly you can place your order by regular mail or email and forward payment by cheque or International Money Order bearing in mind with personal cheques that we must wait for the cheque to clear our bank before shipping the items.
How do you ship?
We use Canada Post as our primary shipping service (affiliated with US Postal Service and all major international carriers). They have proven to be both a reliable and efficient carrier.
How long does delivery take?
As a small business we do not say that we offer "next day shipping" as that would simply not be possible with our busy work flow. What we do say is that your order will be shipped within four days and delivery within North America is generally within 14 business days using Canada Post's expedited ground service. So in most cases you will have your items within 14-18 days (often much sooner). The only exception would be if a product is out of stock in which case you would be notified via email of any delays. A delay at the border for US shipments is also out of our control but experience suggests this not to be an issue.
What if my shipment is lost or broken upon arrival?
Our products, because of their nature, are quite robust and very durable. Plus we pack carefully. However, if a shipment should be lost or damaged in transit then a full refund will be provided. Please advise us within 5 days of the receipt of the item if it has been damaged.
Do you guarantee full satisfaction?
Obviously we want everyone to be completely satisfied with our products. If you receive an item and are not happy with it you can return it for a full refund... no questions asked. The return shipping must be at your expense and the item must arrive in original, unused condition. The best approach is to view the large product images on the products page to ensure that the item appeals to you in the first place. |
